A seminar on 'Bridging Circuits to Civics: UPSC/GPSC Journey for Engineers' was organized by Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar on 6th September 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at C. V. Raman Hall, Block No.1. The session aimed to motivate and guide engineering students towards civil services as a career option, bridging the gap between technical education and governance. The keynote speaker of the seminar was Mr. Abhinav Singh, Founder of Civil IAS, with more than 12 years of teaching experience in UPSC across Delhi, NCR, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. He has also served as Manager at the Central Bank of India and is a regular faculty member at SPIPA. Additionally, he has been a visiting faculty at DDU-Nadiyad and Chandigarh. The seminar was held under the patronage of Dr. S. P. Dave, Principal of GEC Gandhinagar. The convener of the event was Dr. Kunal A. Bhatt, Head of the Electrical Department.
