A Model Competition was organized by Electrical Section in General Department on 6th May 2023, at Government Engineering College, Sector-28, Gandhinagar. Under the event “EEMOCO-2023”, first year students of various disciplines participated with great enthusiasm. Each student presented different concept based models made by their group and were observed and highly appreciated by the Principal and head of various departments as well as faculty members from various disciplines. Out of a total of 29 teams registered in the event, a total of 14 teams were selected through the first and second qualifying rounds to participate in the finals. All students were awarded by a participation certificate and the three winner teams were also awarded with a winning certificate. The main objective of doing this event was that the first year students get start up related encouragement from now on and can go further in that direction and do commendable work.Attachment : Click Here |

Department of Biomedical Engineering, GEC Gandhinagar had organized a session on "Role of Biomedical Engineer as Sales and Service Engineer" on 09/05/2023, Tuesday in association with Mindray Medical Equipments Pvt. Ltd. More than 80 students participated in the session. Ms. Nayana Modh, Academic Manager - Mindray Medical Equipment, had given insight to students about Ultrasound Medical Equiments and their role as a Biomedical Engineer. The main topic of the event was to give knowledge to the students about the role of mathematics in real/practical life, and how mathematics plays an important role in our real world.
